I have earned my daily bread for the last 33 years with my art. Over the years I have done everything from carving headstones to owning a tattoo studio. For the last 25 years glass has been my medium of choice. 25 years ago I wandered into a small stained glass shop and fell in love with the jewel-like sparkle of the light refracting through the glass. The artistic possibilities this magical medium generated in my mind launched me on a journey that has led me from novice to studio foreman in a large Art Glass restoration studio for 9 years to owning my own studio. I have studied with some of the acknowledged masters in the restoration of Tiffany glass and techniques in glass painting. I love when a client sees their commission for the first time exploding with color. I love the reaction from congregations when they see their beloved glass restored to its original magnificence. Often no one alive has seen the glass as it originally looked because over 100 years of dirt and pollution have dimmed the splendor. When I have freed the original artist’s images to fill people’s hearts again, I can't even come close to describing the feeling of satisfaction. I have had the privilege of working on glass for the Smithsonian institute and some of the finest Tiffany windows in the world. I have pieces in private collections across America and in England. I look back over the years and still can't quite believe I have been given this wonderful opportunity to live my life creating and being surrounded by such beauty.
